2023-2024 APPLE VALLEY YOUTH WRESTLING FULL SEASON - BEGINS THURSDAY NOVEMBER 2ND, 2022 6:30 - 7:45 PM
Apple Valley Wrestling Youth Club 2023-2024
Session 1 – Folkstyle Wrestling (Fall-Winter) (GRADES K-6th, 7th & 8th) November, December & Mid-January
Session 2 - Folkstyle Wrestling (Winter) (GRADES K-6th, 7th & 8th) Mid-January, February & March
Session 3 - Freestyle/Greco Roman (Spring) (GRADES K-6th, 7th & 8th) April, May, June

INVITATION: The Apple Valley Wrestling Club is for kids in grades K-8th. It will provide kids an opportunity to wrestle & compete in weekend tournaments, and wrestle other kids outside of Apple Valley. It's a great way to improve your skills, make new friends and work with high school coaches and wrestlers.
PROGRAM GOAL:
- Provide an opportunity for our wrestlers to develop and improve their wrestling skills.
- Accomplish individual & team goals through hard work, practice and the participation in individual and potential dual meet tournament competition throughout the metro area.
TIMING: Starts Thursday November 2, 2023 at 6:30 PM– 8:00 PM.
COST (3 options):
$300.00 for FULL SEASON program (3 Sessions).
$200.00 for Folkstyle (Sessions 1 and 2)
$100.00 for Freestyle/Greco Roman (Session 3)
Additional cost for a USA Wrestling card for those who do not currently have or need to update membership card (http://www.usawmembership.com). Open weekend tournaments (optional but encouraged) cost approximately $10.00 -$20.00 each and may vary based on the host.
CLUB SIGN UP: Youth online registration available at https://avwrestling.sportngin.com/ website to become a new member or renew membership for the upcoming session. Please register before practice the first practice.
- First practice: November 2, 2023 6:30 – 7:45 PM
- Most practice days will be Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.
- Practice two/three nights a week with weekend tournaments.
- Schedule will be available on the TeamSnap app.
PARTICIPANT PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS:
· Organized planned practices providing quality coaching in a positive atmosphere providing improvement daily. We will work hard, but have fun doing it.
· Knowledgeable high quality coaching provided for both practices & tournament events.
